Ya llegó la Navidad
Aunque las tiendas tienen listas la promociones para navidad desde hace bastante, por fin adornamos la casa para Navidad. Para mí, Navidad no es sobre el nacimiento del niño Jesús, más bien es una época para pasar con los seres queridos, comprar regalos (soy comprador compulsivo), comer tamales, tener frío (mucho viento), escuchar villancicos, las cenas de navidad (una con mi papá, una con mi mamá) y la fiesta de año nuevo.
Lo típico de todos los años, la familia, parejas, la carne asada que no puede faltar para mantener las fuezas mientras se decora la casa, o como dijo Rebe, todo el mundo decora, y yo me encargo de supervisar y encargarme de que nadie tenga hambre.
Este año Rebe hizo el rompope, y lo hizo con el RonRico de coco, así que este año tomamos “rompope caribeño”. Y este año el novio de Rebe se me adelantó con guindar el globo de Santa que hizo mi mamá hace muchos años, y que ha sido tradicionalmente mi tarea en la decoración de navidad y que me ha costado varios años de técnica por desarrollar.
Al final del día, mi casa decorada, y un excelente día con los seres queridos (aunque no todos, faltaron algunos). Siguiente tarea: tamales, aunque también estoy pensando hacer una galletada.
