Filas en migración
Estuve haciendo fila desde el domingo a las 11 de la noche para poder renovar mi pasaporte el lunes. Es increíble, si fuera que me los están dando de gratis, talvez se podría justificar, pero hay que pagar $26 y 2750 colones. Esto se debe a que por fin el ministerio de migración y extranjería va a dejar de dar citas para sacar el pasaporte, las cuales por lo general son para unos dos o tres meses después de la fecha en la que se llamó para hacer la cita, en cambio, ahora se hace fila, y se atiende a las primeras 500 personas en la fila.
Cuando mi tío me dijo que salíamos a las 10:30pm del domingo hacia migración, lo único que pude pensar fue que era una exageración, y que probablemente ibamos a ser los únicos que ibamos a estar desde tan temprano, yo me imaginaba que con llegar a las 2am del lunes ibamos a estar bien. Por dicha que no me hicieron caso, ya que aún llegando a las 11pm del domingo, ya habían unas 120 personas antes que nosotros en la fila.
Varias lloviznas y horas después, a las 6am del lunes la fila se empezó a movilizar. Lo que hicieron fue meter la gente a un parqueo dentro de migración para ir ordenando la fila con las 500 personas que iban a atender, los que no pudieron entrar al parqueo, salados, y más de uno decidió quedarse haciendo fila desde esa hora para el día siguiente, y los que si pudieron entrar, a esperarse en la fila hasta las 7am, hora en que abre migración.
Después de hacer la fila en el parqueo, se pasa a una ventanilla para que a uno le entreguen la cita para el mismo día, para luego pasar a otra fila, mitad de pie y mitad jugando sillas musicales (ir moviéndose de silla en silla), para solicitar el pasaporte y firmar. Después de firmar, a la siguiente fila, toma de huellas digitales, aparentemente, si ya anteriormente me hubieran tomado las huellas me hubiera saltado esta fila, pero no fué mi caso.
Cualquiera pensaría que después de 8 horas de hacer fila a la interperie, y 3 horas de filas y trámites , uno sale el mismo día de migración con el pasaporte, y asumir eso sería un error. El pasaporte lo dan hasta 4 días después, en mi caso, hasta el viernes, día en que no puedo venir por mi trabajo, y por lo tanto tendré que esperar hasta el lunes para tener mi pasaporte.
Cualquiera pensaría que le estoy pidiendo el favor al gobierno de que me deje salir del país, y que el gobierno se pone a pensarlo, pero se supone que tener pasaporte para poder salir del país es un derecho. Espero no tener problemas a la hora de recoger mi pasaporte, ya que hay varias cosas en mi lista que requieren pasaporte y me gustaría tacharla de una buena vez.

Desde que el antiguo Director de Migración se fue (o lo echaron), ese lugar cada día que pasa se pone peor! Tenían un sistema, no muy eficaz tampoco, pero no había que acampar tres días antes para sacar el pasaporte!… De verdad que sólo acá pasan esas cosas.
