Dowco Rally Pack
Ya pude instalar mi Dowco Rally Pack Value Series Luggage Set
Mi única queja, y muy importante, es que quisiera saber por qué no tuve esto para mi viaje a Panamá?! Claro, eso significa que tengo que hacer otro viaje en moto para estrenar las maletas.
El juego de equipaje consiste de 4 piezas:
- Tail bag: Va en la cola de la moto, y se asegura a los pedales del acompañante. Cabe mencionar que cuando se lleva el tail bag, no queda espacio para un acompañante. Según lo que leí en la red, tiene suficiente espacio para meter un casco, pero por lo menos mi casco no entró, aunque eso se puede justificar con que soy muy cabezón, tendré que intentar con un casco mediano, aunque no le veo el sentido de meter un segundo casco en el tail bag si no deja espacio para un acompañante. Espero que sea resistente, porque ya despedacé un salveque intentando utilizarlo como tail bag. Incluye una capucha para proteger el tail bag de la lluvia.
- Tank bag: Va sobre el tanque de la moto. Me gusta la manera como se asegura a la moto, ya que el arnés consiste de dos partes, una al frente y otra atrás, no como otros que he visto donde el arnés es una sola pieza que complica las cosas a la hora de hechar gasolina. Me gusta el hecho de que puedo guardar cosas en la moto y dejar espacio para el acompañante, así que estoy considerando dejar de utilizar el salveque que amarro como si fuera un tail bag y hacer el tank bag mi “cajuela” oficial.
- 2 Saddle bags: No se si cuenta como una o dos piezas, pero yo las cuento como dos. Se unen sobre el asiento del acompañante con dos tiras gruesas de velcro, y se sujetan a los pedales del acompañante con otras dos tiras. Una tira más asegura las piezas a la parte trasera de la moto, en mi caso, donde va la placa. Vienen con un soporte para darles forma y que de paso sirve como aislante del calor del escape, y que por cierto a Javier y a mí nos costo un mundo meter, pero ya les agarramos el toque.
Así que ni modo, a planear viajecito a la playa para estrenar el juego de equipaje, ya que con todas las maletas puestas, mi moto parece más de touring que deportiva.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children.
