En busca de moto
Por fin me cansé de BMS (Breymann Motor Sports), distribuidor de Costa Rica para varias marcas, incluida Triumph, mi moto. Triumph es una señora moto, pero nada hago con tener un chuzo de moto, si no tengo buen servicio.
Me tuvieron semanas detrás de un retrovisor, para al final decirme que no lo tenían, que había importarlo, y que duraban tres semanas en traerlo. Claro, eso fue hace 5 meses, y todavía no se nada del retrovisor. Luego, llevé la moto a que le dieran mantenimiento. Dentro de todo lo que les pedí que hicieran, pedí que cambiaran la cadena porque ya no se podía ajustar más, y que cambiaran el aceite. No tienen la cadena, tienen que importarla (tres semanas, hace tres meses), y aparentemente, le sacaron el aceite a la moto, y se les olvidó ponerle el aceite nuevo. Como consecuencia, la moto empezó a sonar mal y perdió toda su potencia. Cada vez que llamo para ver que fue lo que le pasó a la moto, la cual tienen desde hace mes y medio, me dan una respuesta diferente. La última versión fué que están intentando conseguir un repuesto usado, ya que traerlo nuevo costaría casi lo que vale la moto, además del tiempo que duraría traerlo, a lo cual me imagino que me dirían tres semanas, y 5 meses después no tendría moto.
El hecho lamentable de tener una Triumph en Costa Rica, y de paso cualquier moto cuya marca sea representada por Breymannm como KTM y Aprilia, es que por más buena que sea la moto, en el momento que se necesite algún tipo de reparación, no se puede contar con el respaldo del distribuidor. Por algo debe ser que les quitaron la distribución de motos BMW.
Ya cansado, decidí que era mejor deshacerme de la moto, por más que me doliera por ser una excelente motocicleta, y volver a la filosofía del Hyundai con mi carro. La razón por la que tengo un Hyundai es porque en cualquier lugar encuentro repuestos, son baratos, y no tengo que depender de la agencia para hacer reparaciones, y aunque tuviera que depender de la agencia, son una empresa seria.
Esto significa que ando en busca de una moto pistera, de por lo menos 600cc, marca Kawasaki, Honda o Yamaha.

Looking at your grueling tour schedule, I don’t know how you keep it fresh & exciting…. a day or two in each place and then, on to the next stop… the wandering musical gypsy. Wish you could stay longer and enjoy some of the great things Chicago has to offer. We all know that you’re an accomplished percussionist/drummer (Is one term more respectful than the other?), but you are a spectacular entertainer, as well. YOU bring a lot of “fun” to the show with your bobbing & weaving from drums to cymbals to shaker to spoons, dueling drums and violin strings. Wish I could have met you after the show, but they cleared the crowds pretty quickly and no one without the meet & greet band was allowed to linger. Maybe next time, I’ll get that autograph. Continued success & happiness and be safe in your travels.
